I have had gout for about 15 years and have a few attacks a year but seem to have it under control. The pain i have in my feet now is that the ball of my foot throbs most of the time is there anything for pain relief? I soak feet with epsom salt seems to give me some relief but not much.

Hello,

The ball of the toe pain in gout is treated with
1. Take pain relievers.
2. Ice and rest your foot.
3. Wear comfortable footwear.
4. Try shoe inserts to relieve pressure on the ball of your foot.
5. If you developed Morton neuroma means you typically feel pain, odd sensations or numbness over the ball of your foot. Women have it more often.

Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
